Andes vs. Alps

A battle 40 million years in the making (give or take a few epochs). The Andes are the longest exposed mountain range in the world (cover yourself up, that's indecent). The Alps stretch from Austria to France. The Incas once lived in the Andes. The von Trapp family once lived in the Alps. The hills are alive...run!

That battle would be pretty slow. I mean, it'll take millions and millions of years for the two mountain ranges to even get anywhere close to one another, and they're currently going in the wrong direction.

I did say it was a battle 40 million years in the making. Great battles come to those who wait. Or ketchup comes to those who wait, I can't remember.
